First things First: Android
Aipoly Vision for Android is coming to your phone on April 15th. It will come with a free version much like Aipoly Vision for iOS.
From the developer:
Some of you might think, why so late! You wouldn’t want to be in our spot, these next three months are going to be very intense, and the development of this next-to-free technology is hard. We’ve spoken to enough of you to know why you care about this technology, and so do we! Hang on there, we’re doing this for you!
Next: Aipoly V2!
Aipoly Vision looks brand new. There’s a new recognizer, actually five new recognizers ready to identify items chosen by you. A while back we asked you what items you would like Aipoly to identify, and got to meet some of you over the phone. All that feedback turned into Aipoly Vision V2:
Five brains are better than one. Aipoly Vision 2.0 has multiple AIs working in tandem and can now do the following:
Read text in multiple languages (requires internet connection)
Identify colors more accurately.
Identify 1000 types of food.
Identify currencies! Currently it’s just USD, we’ll see Euro, CAD, GBP, and AUD in an upcoming update.
Identify 1000 types of animals, including breeds of dogs and exotic safari creatures, for those who are
explorers or like scanning images on books.
Identify 1000 species of plants, from common flowers to the rarest orchids.
Focus on items relevant for navigation to assist while walking.
The 1000 most important and essential items will remain free, as usual, together with colors and navigation elements. An additional 4000 items can be unlocked by subscribing to Aipoly Vision for a small fee. We want this technology to always be available to those who need it, working offline and for free, and by supporting it with a subscription you will get much more out of it, about four times more value.
Give it a shot, we are giving everyone 1 free week of upgrades.
More updates on Aipoly:
We’re at CES2017, where we just won the Best of Innovation Award for Aipoly Vision 2.0. This is Simon and and they get to go to bed.
