There’s an old saying that goes something like this: “Eat, eat, we’ll talk later!” In this day and age of meetings while you eat, meetings while you feel like sleeping … (muting is a wonderful thing, nobody can tell if you snore!), though I’m sure you would never fall asleep in such a meeting.
There’s meetings about when we should have a meeting … business today is very meeting-centric. The constant craziness of, how do we get everyone together, no matter where they are?
Portable Power in Your Pocket
Pockets are very useful things! We keep everything in there from spare change, to our keys, to lint, to an old dryer sheet we forgot to use, to well … everything! Yep, I know, I purposely didn’t say what everyone was thinking: “Uh, you forgot about my phone!”
An astute reader you are! for, in fact, I didn’t include that. Because, with the phone, isn’t there something else you wish you had, but maybe you didn’t know you wish you had? that is, a battery!
Sure, there are battery cases, external batteries, cables galore, at any length you could want — but cables and external batteries don’t fit in your pocket. when you charge a battery case, (which, yes, I hear you, you voracious and astute reader saying, “A battery case fits in your pocket.”), and to that, you would be correct! But then there’s this little issue of, forgetting to charge the case!

American Printing House for the Blind
has made its debut at the blindness conventions that are taking place across the U.S. over early July.
Without You, There wouldn’t be an ACB or a Convention!
This is the time of year, where the blindness organizations in the U.S. round up the troops and get everyone together for their annual conventions! The American Council of the Blind is holding there’s from June 30-July 7 in Sparks, Nevada. There’ll be plenty of technology to see at the exhibit hall, workshops until you drop, and seminars and meetings to keep you hoppin’ throughout the day. And just to make sure you earn your sleep at night, there’ll be plenty of activities and gatherings happening after the exhibit hall closes each day. From a showcase of talented folks, (you know, ACB’s version of “So You Think You Can Dance”), among other wonderful things, to tours that take place around the city. From a candy factory to a train museum, there are activities for everyone!
Geting Wires Crossed–Not Anymore, with the InnLife Bluetooth headphones!
No doubt this has happened to you. You’re riding in a car, you reach your destination, and then it’s time to take off your seatbelt and exit the vehicle. Which is all fine, except, if you happen to be wearing a headset connected to your phone while in route. more often than not, the wires of the headset get tangled in the seatbelt, and it looks like Stretch Armstrong is trying to materialize out of the tangled mess before you get things straightened out without breaking the fragile wires.
