GoodMaps will be providing accessible indoor navigation in the Anaheim Marriott for the CSUN conference, March 15-18!
Exhibits open to registered attendees at 4 PM on Tuesday the 15th and open to the public Wednesday 16th – Friday the 18th. Navigate the conference using GoodMaps Explore on IOS or Android. This is a golden opportunity to see if indoor navigation is something you would like to have in a building or transit facility near you. GoodMaps works with a variety of building types including corporate offices, museums, stadiums, hospitals, universities, and more.
GoodMaps mapped the Anaheim Marriott by walking the space and collecting LiDAR and 360-degree camera images to create a digital map. The GoodMaps Explore application then uses that map to provide turn-by-turn accessible navigation. The app relies on georeferenced images from the original scan to determine where a user is in the building, which requires no installation of hardware. With the GoodMaps technology enabled, conference attendees and hotel guests can easily find their way around the hotel and locate conference sessions and specific booths in the exhibit hall!
