With the release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, Microsoft added a Dark Theme mode for all of its Windows Universal Apps. Microsoft also added a dark theme mode for its preferred browser, Microsoft Edge. There is also a little known Dark Theme mode for Microsoft Office as well. Dark Theme modes are not only easy on the eyes, but they also reduce the drain on your laptop’s battery. In this brief article, I will explain how to enable Dark Theme mode in each of these areas.

Conclusion

It is easy to see that Microsoft is committed to Dark Theme mode; but however, most of the changes that occur in the Windows operating system are based on feedback from customers. Microsoft has made it simple to submit feedback from multiple locations, but the most convenient method is by way of the Feedback app. You can access the Feedback app at any time by pressing windows key+f. Here, you can submit performance issues, suggest changes that you would like to see, and view and vote on other customer feedback. Microsoft is making changes based on what customers say they want rather than what Microsoft thinks they want. What a refreshing approach!
