Wherever you’re traveling, it’s important to stay aware of the speed limit so that you can make sure you are obeying local traffic laws and staying safe on the road. Luckily, you can see the current speed limit in Google Maps.
Open Google Maps.
Select your account icon in the upper right corner.
Select Settings.
Select Navigation.
Scroll down, and toggle on to Show speed limits. The toggle should be to the right and coloured blue when it is turned on.
Now, whenever you start navigating, you should see speed limits in Google Maps.
