How to get Siri to decline a call

Getting unwanted calls while your hands are otherwise occupied? Use this hands-free method to decline incoming calls with a Siri voice command.

Enable Announce Calls to have Siri will read the caller’s name, so you know whether to answer or decline.

On your iPhone, open Settings.
Scroll down to the list of apps and select Phone.
Select Announce Calls.
Choose the option that works best for you. If you choose “Headphones & Car” or “Headphones Only,” Siri will only announce your calls when you have headphones on or when you’re driving.

Now, when someone calls, depending on the settings you selected, Siri will read the caller out loud. You can say, “Siri, decline call,” and Siri will hang up on the caller for you.
