CBT continues to discover even more accessibility features in iOS 11. Labeling unlabelled buttons
Does this mean that unlabelled buttons are a thing of the past? Not yet, but in iOS 11 Apple has integrated a feature for VoiceOver users that makes a suggestion for the buttons, for example if a button is unlabelled it will instead say “possible text followed by a description of the button.”
Drag and drop with VoiceOver
Drag and drop will also be integrated for People who use VoiceOver. Single finger double tap and hold an item as VoiceOver reads it out and tells you once you have dragged it over another app.
Improved Text Detection
In iOS 11 when viewing an image with text in it, now it will automatically scan the image for text and read it aloud for VoiceOver users.
Improved photo descriptions
iOS 11 will automatically scan an image to figure out what it contains and then reads out a description to you, without needing to be prompted. It even describes the overall tone of the image, such as it being bright or dark.
Large text enhancements
enhancements have been made system-wide for low vision users. Apple has also been developing new APIs to allow third-party app developers to implement the large text enhancements in their apps.
