The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) hosted a low vision course with six CET points available at its Low Vision Centre in London today.
The one-day course returned following the success of the first event back in February with a theme of A holistic approach to low vision.
It included talks on magnification, emotional support and legal issues surrounding low vision and a presentation by Guide Dogs for the Blind.
A keynote speech was delivered by specialist optometrist, Bill Harvey, who presented his thoughts during How to do Low Vision.
The course also featured a practical element with attendees given the opportunity to increase their knowledge of electronic aids.
The event was sponsored by OxSight, Associated Optical and OrCam technologies.
