Lebanon Opens First ‘Blind-Friendly’ Supermarket
The first blind-friendly supermarket in the Middle East opened Sept. 27 in Beirut, as part of a project launched by Lebanese non-profit Red Oak. This supermarket initiative coincides with their other recent projects aimed at bringing blind and visually impaired people to museums.
