Enable automatic Handwashing Timer feature in Apple Watch running watchOS 7
Want to enable the new Handwashing Timer feature on your Apple Watch? Here’s how you do it in a few easy steps.
Apple realizes the important of washing hands and has baked in a automatic timer with the new watchOS 7 update which activates when you are washing your hands. Called Handwashing Timer, when enabled, it will count down to 20 seconds and will ping you once the timer is up, telling you that you have washed your hands properly. You have to wash your hands for 20 seconds in order to kill any germs or viruses that you may have on your hand. Obviously, the washing technique matters, and the Apple Watch won’t help you in that, but 20 seconds is what you should aim for and watchOS 7 will encourage you.
