You’re probably aware of Alexa’s ability to let you know when you receive calls and messages on your Amazon Echo. Amazon has recently decided to expand Alexa’s capabilities to notify you when your order has shipped. Before, you were only able to ask your echo for the status of your order.
According to Engadget, once you receive a notification, the echo and the echo dot will display a pulsing yellow light. The echo Show will display a banner instead. If you have sounds turned on in your Echo device settings, you will hear a chime to let you know there is a notification waiting for you. After that, you can simply tell Alexa to read your notifications or just ask: “What did I miss?”
Be sure to enable notifications in order for this feature to work.
