How to Use the Level in the Measure App in iOS 12 with Your iPhone

Apple’s new operating system, iOS 12, introduces a new measurement app that also includes a level.

Here is how to Use the Level

1. Open the Measure app in the Utilities folder.
2. Select Level at the bottom of the screen.
3. Now find the surface you’d like to check for level and place your iPhone on it. You can hold it in portrait or landscape mode or even face up. When the surface you are testing is level, you’ll get 0° and a green screen.
4. If the surface you are checking isn’t level, the screen will be black, and you’ll get how many degrees plus or minus it’s off from level.
